The project task was the adaptation of a 70 m2 apartment in an old building in the center of Zagreb. The greatest potentials of this apartment were daylight and high ceilings. Due to the east-west orientation of the apartment, it is naturally flooded with light throughout the day. The original joinery and parquet flooring (herringbone) were retained from the old apartment, keeping the classic style of the apartment, while the rest of the apartment is decorated in a minimalist industrial style with modern materials such as polyurethane and concrete details. The adaptation included the installation of all-new electrical, heating and plumbing systems.
